Plano

Dr. Cassone is a compassionate and experienced physical therapist with a decade of specialized expertise in pelvic health, geriatrics, and orthopedic rehabilitation. She is deeply committed to helping patients of all ages live pain-free, unrestricted lives, with a particular emphasis on pelvic health concerns such as pregnancy and postpartum recovery.

As a mother of three, Dr. Cassone brings a personal understanding to her clinical care, having experienced the physical and emotional challenges of pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum journey herself. This firsthand perspective strengthens her empathy for patients, especially women navigating these significant life stages, and motivates her to provide expert support so that new mothers can heal, rebuild strength, and feel empowered in their bodies.

Dr. Cassone earned her undergraduate degree in biology at the University of the Incarnate Word in Rockwall, Texas, followed by her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio in 2015. A lifelong athlete, collegiate swimmer, CrossFit instructor, and weightlifter, she integrates her passion for movement and performance with a holistic, patient-centered approach. Dr. Cassone is highly skilled in working with athletes of all levels, focusing on proper form, functional mobility, and injury prevention. She understands that even the strongest bodies can experience challenges like pelvic pain, core dysfunction, and symptoms that impact both athletic performance and daily life.

Her advanced training and hands-on experience allow Dr. Cassone to treat a wide range of conditions, including pelvic pain, stress urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, diastasis recti, and recovery from childbirth. She blends evidence-based techniques with in-depth knowledge of the pelvic floor and core stability to help each patient regain mobility, restore confidence, and return to the activities they love. Dr. Cassone’s goal is to address the root causes of pain, leakage, pressure, and performance limitations for patients who are recovering postpartum, returning to sport, or seeking to feel strong and comfortable in their bodies.

Outside of her practice, Dr. Cassone enjoys staying active at the gym, spending time outdoors with her husband and three children, and exploring new destinations through travel. She is dedicated to helping others live their healthiest, most active lives, with a special focus on supporting women and athletes to thrive both in and out of the clinic.
