"I've learned great exercises to manage my low back pain, plus new ways to roll in and out of bed, stand up from a chair, and adjust other daily movements to reduce strain and pain. I've also been delighted by how effective the virtual visits are."

Low Back Pain
Stephanie S.
"I found Origin when I was pregnant and wanted to stay in shape without aggravating my diastasis recti. I've worked on all my aches and pains during pregnancy (back pain, knee pain etc.). After having my baby, I came back to do pelvic floor work. It’s been a godsend!"

Jamie H.
"I feel so much better and my pelvic floor issues are almost gone. Believe them when they say that growing older (menopause) doesn't have to be the way it was for our mothers and generations of women before them. What else is there to say! Thank you."
Jamie H.

Rebecca M.
"I think all women should go to pelvic floor therapy! It's never too early or too late! I learned so much with my appointment. I wish I had known more about this before I had my baby, but I am so glad I am going now and getting stronger and healthier before my next pregnancy."
Rebecca M.

We love questions.

Curious about pricing? Wondering if you need a prescription? Want to check your insurance coverage? Get answers in our FAQ or schedule a call to talk with us in real time.

How does insurance work?

During the booking process, we’ll collect your insurance information if we’re in-network with your insurance provider in your market. From there, we can give you a sense of how much your visit should cost ahead of time – however if you have any questions we always recommend checking with your insurance company.

If we are not in-network with your insurance provider, we will provide you with a superbill.

Do you accept insurance for a virtual visit?

We currently accept Cigna in most states and are in-network with most major commercial insurers in CA and TX. We’re planning to continue to expand our in-network coverage in the coming months as well.

Since each plan is different, we cannot specifically verify your telehealth coverage before your appointment. We encourage you to call your insurance company to confirm and understand the details of your policy, including your financial responsibility, any limits to the number of visits you’re allowed each year and any authorizations required for ongoing care.

If we are not in-network with your insurance plan, you can request a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for out of network coverage. Please note that If your insurance denies coverage for any reason, you’ll be responsible for a cash rate of up to $150 for an evaluation and $75 for a follow-up.

How much does care cost if I am uninsured?

If you’re not using insurance, our cash rates are as follows:

Virtual

Nationwide: $150 evaluation, $75 each follow-up

In-person

California: $150 evaluation, $100 each follow-up

Texas: Up to $165 evaluation, $99 each follow-up

What should I expect during a virtual visit?

Just like you would in an in-person appointment, you and your PT will start by discussing your symptoms and/or goals.

Visual assessments are easy, provided your camera allows for a head-to-toe view. And, if a pelvic exam is needed, your PT can instruct you on how to give yourself one offline. From there, they might have you do some at home diagnostics, provide feedback on everything from your posture to your form sitting, standing, walking etc. From what they observe and assess, they will be able to provide appropriate modifications, strategies, and exercises to optimize your movement patterns.

You and your PT will work to build a plan that will work for you and your schedule. You’ll leave the visit with a personalized home exercise program and plan for follow-ups to get you feeling better.

Where is Origin available?

Origin offers virtual care across 35 states. For a full list check out here. We also have in-person clinics in California and Texas and offer pelvic coaching in select states.

Can I work with the same physical therapist every time?

We do our best to ensure that you can have continuity of care and see the same physical therapist every time if you prefer. However, sometimes due to scheduling challenges or availability of appointments you might not be able to see your specific PT at your desired time every week.

Have no fear! If for whatever reason you need to see someone else, you can ask your PT for a recommendation in-clinic or virtually or you can always reach out to our team and we can help match you with the right person based on your availability, symptoms, and goals.
