Dr. Angeline Zappitelli, PT, DPT, PWCS

Physical Therapist
She/Her
Virtual / Remote

Angeline builds each plan of care around the individual patient, developing personalized treatment designed to help them reach their own goals. She sees pelvic health physical therapy as a way to give patients back their autonomy and drastically improve their quality of life. Trained in both trauma-informed and LGBTQ+ friendly care, Angeline is bringing her expertise to Origin through virtual care.

She especially enjoys treating pelvic organ prolapse, urinary urgency, and symptoms associated with endometriosis. Angeline has helped individuals across the lifespan navigate complex pelvic health concerns, including those related to endometriosis, postpartum, menopause, and gynecologic surgery. She also welcomes pediatric patients and has experience in pediatric pelvic health. Her path to this work began with a single lecture in PT school on the healthcare disparities women face surrounding pregnancy and how those disparities impact their quality of life. After that lecture, she became determined to learn as much as she could about women's health and to help shape its future for the better.

Angeline earned her Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science from John Carroll University in 2017, where she also played softball, and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Cleveland State University in 2020. She spent about a year working in outpatient orthopedics, skilled nursing, and acute care before moving to Fort Wayne, Indiana, to be mentored by the Parkview Health residency staff as she specialized in pelvic health. In 2025, she received her Clinical Specialization in Pelvic and Women's Health from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. Having moved from college softball to adult recreational sports leagues, Angeline loves using her experience in athletics to help athletes across the lifespan reach their goals.

When she's not working, you'll find Angeline snuggling at least one of her three dogs. She also enjoys traveling, going to concerts and sporting events, and relaxing at home with her husband.
