Ashton earned her undergraduate degree from Baylor University in Waco, TX, where she proudly cheered on the Baylor Bears and developed a passion for health and wellness. She went on to complete her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at UT Southwestern in Dallas, TX.With experience in both neurological and outpatient rehabilitation, Ashton brings a strong understanding of the brain-body connection and addressing the nervous system. Her systems-based approach and sharp eye for movement patterns allow her to provide personalized, effective care across a wide range of conditions. She has a special interest in prenatal and postpartum recovery, urinary incontinence, hip dysfunction, and dizziness/vestibular disorders. She has treated patients from ages 14 to 90 and believes everyone deserves access to thoughtful, empowering care.Ashton is passionate about helping people reconnect with their bodies and regain confidence through individualized, compassionate care. Her guiding principle is such: “If it doesn’t matter to you, it doesn’t matter!”

She focuses on what’s most functional for her patients and works to educate them with the tools they need to return to the activities they love.As a daily exerciser and long-distance runner who has completed in multiple races, Ashton strongly believes in practicing what she preaches. She truly believes movement is medicine, understanding firsthand its value for physical and mental well-being. This lived experience informs her realistic approach to patient care.Outside of the clinic, you’ll likely find her trying something new in the kitchen, working out with a friend (if it’s not on Strava, did it really happen?), or on a walk with her latest audiobook. She also enjoys hosting game nights with her husband, traveling with family and friends, and cheering on her Baylor Bears!Ashton looks forward to walking alongside her patients on their journey toward healing, strength, and restored function at Origin's Plano clinic!
