Dr. Brianna James, PT, DPT
Brianna is passionate about the intersectionality of mental health and maternal wellness, and brings that perspective to every patient she sees. She is committed to providing individualized, evidence-based care and believes in the power of education and collaboration, working alongside each patient to identify the most effective approaches for reducing their symptoms and improving their quality of life.
She especially enjoys treating urinary incontinence, bowel dysfunction, pelvic pain in pregnancy, and pain with intercourse, and supporting patients through pregnancy and postpartum return to exercise. Brianna's interest in pelvic health grew from recognizing the significant need for specialized providers while she was in physical therapy school. She is driven by every opportunity to challenge the misconception that common symptoms are simply something to live with, and to help patients discover individualized ways to feel better in their bodies.
Brianna earned her Bachelor's in Exercise, Sports, and Movement Sciences from the University of Memphis and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Emory University.
Outside the clinic, you can find Brianna exploring new restaurants around the city, biking on the Beltline with her husband, coaching cheerleading, or reading a good book.
