Emily is passionate about pelvic health because it considers the whole person, allowing her to address not just symptoms but how they impact someone's everyday life. She is committed to providing individualized, holistic care that helps her patients build confidence in their bodies and return to the activities they love.

She especially enjoys treating pre- and post-operative prostatectomy care, overactive bladder including neuromodulation, and genitourinary syndrome of menopause. Her interest in pelvic health was sparked during her clinical rotations in physical therapy school, where she quickly fell in love with the specialty and its whole-person approach. As a certified Pilates instructor, Emily also incorporates principles of body awareness, strength, and mobility into her sessions to create individualized movement strategies for her patients.

Emily earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Duke University. She holds her Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification (PRPC) through Herman & Wallace and has experience working in a physician-owned urology practice, collaborating with medical providers to treat a wide range of pelvic health conditions.

Outside the clinic, Emily enjoys surfing, teaching Pilates, and spending time outdoors with her wirehaired Vizsla, Riggs.
