Dr. Ivette Martinez, PT, DPT
Ivette believes in creating a trusting environment where patients feel comfortable asking questions and taking an active role in their recovery. She is passionate about helping patients participate in the activities they enjoy in a healthy and sustainable way, and brings her own love of movement to everything she does in the clinic.
She especially enjoys treating urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, and supporting patients through postpartum recovery. Ivette's interest in pelvic health was sparked during her first clinical rotation in the specialty, where she saw firsthand how pelvic health influences a person's ability to participate in sports, exercise, and daily life. That experience made clear to her that this was a setting where she could make a meaningful difference.
Ivette earned her Bachelor's in Exercise Science from Kennesaw State University and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Georgia State University. Maintaining an active lifestyle has always been central to who she is, and her personal experience with running, strength training, soccer, climbing, and tennis has shaped her commitment to helping patients return to the activities that matter most to them. She takes a whole-body approach to pelvic health, incorporating the core, lumbar spine, and lower extremities into treatment and functional training.
