Dr. Lacie Lewandowski PT, DPT, PT, DPT
Lacie believes that understanding why something is happening can be incredibly empowering. One of her favorite parts of being a physical therapist is education: she loves helping patients understand their anatomy, physiology, and nervous system, and how interconnected the body truly is. Her goal is to help patients connect the dots between their symptoms, their body, and their nervous system so they feel more confident and informed in their care.
She especially enjoys treating pelvic pain, urinary urgency and frequency, and constipation, and is particularly passionate about bowel health and the role it plays in broader pelvic health concerns that many patients don't initially connect. Lacie's path to pelvic health began when a professor mentioned pelvic floor therapy and she knew immediately that she wanted to specialize. It was only through her own pelvic health coursework that she discovered she herself had pelvic dysfunction, an experience that deepened her empathy and commitment to this work.
Lacie earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and has been practicing since 2021. She has pursued extensive continuing education through APTA pelvic health courses covering urinary health, bowel and pelvic pain, neurological considerations, and pessary management.
Outside the clinic, Lacie lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband Shane and their two cats. She loves hiking, rock climbing, disc golfing, cooking from scratch, gardening, and reading romance, thriller, and historical fiction.
