Dr. Maria Drews, PT, DPT, PWCS

Physical Therapist
She/Her
Houston - Katy

Maria approaches pelvic floor therapy from a place of personal understanding. She has experienced the benefits of pelvic floor therapy as a patient herself, and she wants people to know that there is something that can be done for their pelvic floor issues.

She especially enjoys treating pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence, and supporting patients through post-prostatectomy recovery. She welcomes patients of all anatomies. Maria's interest in pelvic health grew out of her own journey with pelvic floor dysfunction, and being treated for it firsthand sparked her passion for this work.

Maria earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas A&M University in 2005 and her Master's in Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 2008. She began her career in outpatient orthopedics and started treating pelvic floor patients in 2014. She later returned to school to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2018, and in 2025 she became a Board Certified Pelvic and Women's Health Clinical Specialist.

Outside the clinic, Maria enjoys running, working out, and walking her two dogs. She also loves heading to the ballpark with her husband to watch their son play baseball.
