Marina De Lao, PTA
Marina is dedicated to creating a supportive, collaborative environment where every patient feels heard, valued, and empowered throughout their care. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, she partners closely with clinicians and patients to rebuild confidence and function, and is especially passionate about education, demystifying pelvic floor health, and celebrating progress of every size.
She is particularly passionate about treating urinary incontinence and constipation and preparing patients for birth. As a mother of two, Marina understands firsthand the impact delivery can have on the body and the challenge of balancing self-care with caring for a family. That lived experience shapes the compassion and insight she brings to every patient's journey.
Marina's path to pelvic floor physical therapy began when Origin visited her PTA program to give a lecture. Learning about the transformative impact of pelvic health care, she could see how it would have supported her own motherhood journey and the journeys of the most important women in her life. That realization inspired her to become part of the movement advocating for greater access to pelvic floor care.
