
Dr. Natasha Carl, PT, DPT, PRPC
Natasha received her Bachelor's degree in Sports and Exercise Science from Texas State University and earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. In 2012, she moved to Austin to begin her first career as a professional ballerina and quickly fell in love with the city’s vibrant, inclusive community.Her clinical experience spans neurological, orthopedic, and pelvic health care, with a strong emphasis on holistic, functional treatment. She has advanced training through the Postural Restoration Institute, which focuses on breathing mechanics, muscle activation and inhibition, and postural realignment to reduce movement patterns contributing to pain and dysfunction. She has also obtained her Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification through Herman and Wallace, and is a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist.
Her interest in pelvic health grew from her own experiences with chronic pelvic pain and an endometriosis diagnosis. This personal journey sparked a passion for helping others navigate similar paths with compassion, clarity, and support. Natasha incorporates a variety of tools in her practice, including manual therapy, dry needling, nervous system regulation, and restorative movement. Her approach is deeply patient-centered, focused on understanding and addressing the full picture of a person’s health and lived experience.Natasha is a trauma-informed clinician who strives to create a safe, affirming space for all patients. She is especially committed to LGBTQ+ informed care and has pursued additional training to better support transgender, nonbinary, and gender-diverse individuals, particularly those navigating gender-affirming care, post-operative recovery, or pelvic pain. She understands the importance of respectful language, inclusive treatment practices, and body autonomy in fostering healing.Natasha meets each patient where they are, tailoring care to individual needs while honoring their unique identity and goals. When not at the clinic, Natasha enjoys gardening, experimenting with fermentation in the kitchen, crafting, and spending time with her partners and 2 dogs.
