Dr. Rebecca Altman, PT, DPT, PWCS
Rebecca is passionate about providing quality, inclusive care to women and the LGBTQ+ community. She is committed to trauma-informed practice and is deeply sensitive to issues of gender diversity in healthcare, striving to create a space where every patient feels comfortable and leaves feeling better than when they came in.
She especially enjoys treating pelvic pain and providing gender affirming care, and welcomes patients of all genders and anatomies. Like many of her patients, Rebecca had no idea that treatment existed for conditions like painful sex, urine leakage, and constipation before she started physical therapy school. Now she is dedicated to inspiring hope in everyone that their symptoms can and will get better.
Rebecca earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from UCLA in 2018 and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2023. After practicing across orthopedic, vestibular, and pelvic health settings, she pursued a Pelvic and Women's Health residency at the University of Southern California, completing it in 2025. During her residency, she shadowed gynecologists and urologists in the operating room, treated BFA dancers in a specialty clinic, and taught PT students about pelvic floor and lymphedema treatment. As a Registered Yoga Teacher, Rebecca also draws on her practice and teaching experience to deepen the mind-body connection with her patients and share the power of movement.
Outside the clinic, you can find Rebecca rollerskating, attending a yoga class, or watching ER with her three cats.
