Dr. Sarah Salas, PT, DPT
Sarah is passionate about empowering women with the knowledge and tools to take control of their health, and is committed to creating a collaborative, compassionate space where every patient feels confident, capable, and supported.
She especially enjoys helping patients return to running and exercise after giving birth, preparing patients for birth, and treating hip and SIJ pain. Pelvic health wasn't originally part of Sarah's plan. She signed up for a clinical rotation on a whim, and it changed the course of her career. She quickly realized how many women were struggling in silence and how little education existed about what is actually normal when it comes to pelvic health, and that experience sparked her passion for helping women better understand their bodies.
Sarah earned her Bachelor's in Exercise Science at Central College in Pella, Iowa, where she spent four years competing on the cross country and track teams. That love of running has never left her and shapes how she connects with and supports her patients who are runners. She went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa.
Outside the clinic, you'll find Sarah out for a run or spending time with her husband and two dogs.
