Dr. Susan Arevalo, PT, DPT
Susan graduated from St. Edward’s University with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Texas State University. She was first introduced to pelvic floor therapy during her physical therapy training, where a guest lecture ignited her passion for this often-overlooked area of care. Susan is dedicated to creating a safe, judgment-free space for her patients, empowering them to feel heard, understood, and confident on their health journey.
Susan believes in the power of movement and strives to help her patients return to their favorite activities without being limited by pelvic floor or orthopedic dysfunction. With a commitment to lifelong learning and evidence-based practice, Susan continuously seeks to grow her clinical skills to provide the highest standard of care. She has a special interest in treating urinary incontinence and low back pain, and is deeply committed to educating others that while some health conditions may be common, they are not normal, and effective treatment is available.
Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, playing pickleball, reading, spending time with family and friends, and relaxing with her dog, Canelo. Susan finds joy in helping others regain their confidence and strength, encouraging them to stay active and embrace the outdoors.
