Urvi Desai, PT, MPT, OCS
Urvi is passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where patients feel comfortable sharing their concerns and truly heard. Her path to pelvic health is deeply personal: as a pelvic floor patient herself, she struggled with symptoms for years before discovering that pelvic floor physical therapy could help, and she understands firsthand how easily these concerns can be dismissed and how difficult it can be to find the right care.
She especially enjoys treating dyspareunia, shoulder pain, and hip pain. Seeing the hope in patients when they realize help is available is what makes this work so meaningful to her, and she is committed to ensuring that no one has to navigate their pelvic health journey alone.
Urvi earned her Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy in India in 2004 and her Master's in Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac University in Connecticut. She has since gained experience across outpatient PT, geriatric care, general orthopedics, and post-operative rehabilitation, and in 2026 earned her Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification. She moved to Texas from Seattle in 2022.
Outside the clinic, Urvi enjoys reading about self-development and self-discovery, practicing meditation, and spending time outdoors with her husband and son.
