UnitedHealthcare Coverage Update Aug 2026
You are still covered.
If your UnitedHealthcare plan is showing Origin as out of network, please know it is a temporary system error. Origin is still in-network, and there is no need to cancel your visits.
We are working directly with UnitedHealthcare to fix this. Your coverage and your care stay exactly as they are.
Your questions, answered

Yes. Origin is still in-network with UnitedHealthcare. Nothing about your coverage or your benefits has changed. A system error is temporarily showing us as out of network, and we are working to correct it.
This is a temporary error in UnitedHealthcare's system, not a change to our relationship with them. Our contract is valid and active, and both UnitedHealthcare and our network partner have confirmed we remain in-network.
You can set that letter aside. It was generated by the same system error and does not reflect your real coverage. You are still in-network with Origin. We are sorry for any worry it caused.
Please keep your visits. Your coverage is unchanged, and cancelling only delays the care you came to us for. We would love to keep seeing you on schedule while this is resolved.
If you were charged an out-of-network rate because of this error, you do not need to do anything. The affected claims are being reviewed and will be reprocessed at your correct in-network rate once the fix is in place. Any overpayment will be corrected.
No action is needed on your part. We are handling this directly with UnitedHealthcare, and your account is being tracked automatically. If we ever need something from you, your care team will reach out.
We are working to resolve it as quickly as possible, and we have been told it may take up to 30 days. Throughout that time your coverage stays in place, so you can keep coming in for your care.
