Increasing Access to Sexual & Reproductive Healthcare
Not long ago, the idea of getting healthcare through a screen seemed almost futuristic—an uncertain leap into uncharted territory. These days, telehealth has become a tool used by millions of patients in the US, including thousands of Origin clients who meet with their PT’s virtually. Online services that connect you with certified health care providers make it easier than ever for you to get the care you need quickly and conveniently, without having to travel to a doctor’s office or wait for an appointment.
Online platforms now offer sexual and reproductive care in all 50 states, providing fast prescription care for common vaginal infections, delivering birth control options to your door, and even connecting patients with providers for menopause treatment. If you haven’t received online women’s health care yet, here’s everything you need to know!
What You Can Treat Online
At Origin, we're all about making women's health care as easy and comfortable as possible. We get that it can be really tough to talk about sensitive stuff like vaginal and pelvic health issues, and that a lot of women feel embarrassed or worried about being judged. Trust us, we've been there!
But here's the thing – with so many women's health treatments available online now, you can get the care you need without ever having to step foot in an office. That means no more awkward waiting room moments or feeling like you have to explain yourself to anyone. Grab your laptop, a cup of tea, and your coziest sweatpants, and you're good to go.
There are so many awesome treatments out there that can help you feel your best, inside and out. We're talking about mental health counseling, skin concerns like acne, birth control options, and even ways to manage your weight. The best part? You can get a prescription without ever leaving your house. But don't worry, you'll still have a quick virtual chat with a licensed healthcare provider to make sure everything is safe for you.
Online Prescription Women’s Healthcare with Wisp
Vaginal symptoms are incredibly common, but they're rarely discussed openly. Many women suffer in silence because they're worried about being judged or have had uncomfortable experiences with doctors in the past. So, be honest with us - have any of these vaginal symptoms been bugging you lately?
- Bacterial Vaginosis: Unusual vaginal odor, thin white or grey discharge, itching in or around the vagina, a burning sensation with urination.
- Urinary Tract Infection: A frequent need to pee, burning or discomfort with urination, pelvic pain, blood in the urine.
- Yeast Infection: Water, white clumpy discharge, itching and burning around the vagina, irritated vaginal tissue, pain during sex.
- Vaginal Dryness: Painful sex, itching (that may feel like a yeast infection), sore, irritated vagina and vulva, burning with urination.
These conditions can be simple to treat and affect millions of women every year. Wisp focuses on sexual and reproductive care, an area of health that is often stigmatized and many people are embarrassBaed to seek care for.
Whether you know your body and are looking for fast care, or are looking for affordable treatment without insurance, or all of the above, Wisp is a useful tool you can use to serve your sexual and reproductive health.
- One-time order: One and done. Order the prescription meds you need just once, whenever you need it.

Not sure exactly what you need, or looking for advice from a provider? Start with a Symptoms Quiz, or schedule a virtual consult. A Wisp provider will be able to evaluate you and let you know what your next treatment steps should be.
Can I Use Insurance with Telehealth?
It is up to individual telehealth services whether they take insurance overall, and whether they take your specific insurance. If you do pick up prescriptions at your local pharmacy, you can work with your pharmacy to bill your insurance so you can save on the cost of your medications.
Origin works with most major national insurance providers to make sure your care (both in person and virtual) is covered. Wisp does not take insurance, but their primary care access, included with subscription, is priced to provide access for anyone who needs it to a healthcare provider regardless of insurance. If you have an HSA (Health Savings Account) or FSA (Flexible Spending Account), many of Origin and Wisp’s options are eligible! Typically, FSA and HSA funds are used to pay personal medical costs (including lab work), or for any immediate family members, such as children or a spouse. If you do have an insurance plan, you can use your HSA and FSA to pay any out-of-pocket copayments, coinsurance, or deductibles.
You deserve convenient, accessible, affordable healthcare. The next time you’re feeling a little off down there, consider a virtual provider for fast, easy relief.
