Physical Therapist
She/Her
Plano

Iliana is a physical therapist who graduated with both her undergraduate and Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees from Mercer University in Georgia. Inspired by her experience as a collegiate athlete who navigated injuries, Iliana discovered early on her passion for supporting others through recovery and facilitating their return to an active lifestyle. She began her career as a general orthopedic physical therapist in Atlanta, practicing for three years before expanding her expertise across outpatient, inpatient, pediatric, and ergonomic settings. Drawing on her athletic background, Iliana particularly enjoys helping people overcome runner’s knee and lower back pain, empowering them to return to the recreational activities they love. She also loves offering dry needling as part of her treatment, assisting patients with recovery, pain relief, and improved function.

After going through two C-sections and facing pregnancy complications of her own, Iliana was driven to deepen her knowledge of pelvic floor therapy. Her personal experience of feeling lost during postpartum recovery motivated her to specialize in caring for women navigating similar journeys, with a focus on helping them move, heal, and regain function before, during, and after pregnancy.Iliana’s holistic approach treats the whole person, and she is dedicated to tailoring her care to the unique needs and goals of each patient, with the aim of enhancing both functional and recreational mobility for a higher quality of living.Outside of work, Iliana enjoys the joyful chaos of chasing her two young boys with her husband and is currently learning to play tennis.
