Dr. Genevieve Feeley, PT, DPT
Genevieve, originally from San Diego, CA, moved to the Bay Area to attend Mills College where she completed her bachelor’s degree in Hispanic Studies with a minor in modern dance. She became interested in physical therapy while rehabilitating a back and hip injury after dancing professionally for several years. Genevieve went on to receive her doctorate from the joint program in physical therapy at the University of California San Francisco/San Francisco State University.
Genevieve will never forget the day she learned how common urinary incontinence is and how treatable it is with physical therapy. She was immediately drawn to pelvic floor PT and completed her doctorate research project on pelvic floor muscle training to treat pelvic organ prolapse. Genevieve also received training in pelvic floor physical therapy through the American Physical Therapy Association and has treated a variety of pelvic floor conditions in addition to treating orthopedic conditions such as low back pain.
In her spare time, Genevieve enjoys running, hiking, and dancing. She is a certified Pilates mat instructor and is in the process of completing a comprehensive equipment certification through Polestar Pilates.
