Dr. Teresa Wong, PT, DPT

She/Her

Physical Therapist

San Francisco

Teresa’s passion for human movement began over 25 years ago as a physical therapist in the UCLA Motion Analysis Laboratory. During that time, she also discovered Pilates after the birth of her daughter which ignited an awe for the “art” of movement and a woman’s body. Today, as a physical therapist and certified Pilates instructor, she intuitively blend science and art towards a whole person approach.

After graduating from UCSF’s physical therapy program, she enjoyed working in pediatrics, outpatient orthopedics/neuro-rehab, elite performance training and rehab technology development. In 2015, she was recruited to Singapore to develop and teach rehab programs that integrated technology. Six years later, she returned to San Francisco to be closer to her family. Her clinical interests include biomechanics of movement, rehab technologies and women’s health through the life cycle.

When she’s not in the clinic, you might find her in a yoga studio, banging around with pots in a kitchen, or honing her new mah-jong skills.
