Dr. Amanda Ivy PT, DPT

Physical Therapist
She/Her
Northwest Austin

Amanda is dedicated to creating a safe space to explore the ""why"" behind symptoms and to instilling confidence in her patients as they further their own success — because everybody has a right to understand their body and feel seen.

She earned her Bachelor's in Kinesiology in Northwest Arkansas before moving to Austin, where she completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of St. Augustine. Amanda has a special interest in endometriosis, incontinence, painful sex, and pregnancy and postpartum care, and has experience working with trans and pediatric patients.

She was drawn to pelvic floor therapy because so many people are disregarded or told their pain and dysfunction are normal — and she felt inspired to do something about it. Her goal is to diminish the embarrassment and confusion that so often surround the body and work closely with her patients to give them a toolbox for a more functional and fulfilling life.

Outside the clinic, Amanda can be found drinking a coffee, reading a good book, potting a plant, or baking something new.
