Dr. Anna Powell PT, DPT, PCES
Anna believes pelvic floor physical therapy should feel approachable and empowering. She prioritizes education, active listening, and collaboration in her work with patients, helping them feel heard, supported, and confident in their bodies while providing evidence-based care tailored to their lives.
Her primary interests include pregnancy and postpartum care, urinary incontinence, pediatric pelvic health, and movement-based pelvic rehabilitation. As a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist, Anna loves helping patients reconnect with their bodies and feel confident moving again after birth. She's passionate about helping patients rebuild trust in their bodies during a time when they're often dismissed.
Anna earned her BS in Kinesiology from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2020. After just one pelvic health course, she became aware of how much we aren't taught about our bodies and how little support women receive postpartum. That experience shifted the way she viewed care and inspired her to specialize in pelvic floor physical therapy.
When she's not in the clinic, Anna enjoys trying out new coffee shops and walking her dogs, Daphne and Nala, on new trails.
