Dr. Christine Cornel, PT, DPT
Christine is from San Diego, California. After graduating from San Diego State University with a B.S in Kinesiology, she attended the University of Southern California for her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Upon graduating, Christine worked as a virtual therapist before transitioning to an in-person clinician role, where she treats both orthopedic and pelvic health populations. Christine has a special interest in treating patients experiencing pelvic pain, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), and sciatica, and she also treats patients with penile anatomy. As someone who has lived with chronic pain herself, Christine was immediately drawn to pelvic floor physical therapy upon discovering the specialty, dedicating much of her education and clinical practice to advancing her expertise in this field.
In addition to her clinical work, Christine contributes to pelvic health research as a research fellow for the Institute of Musculoskeletal Advancement. She is deeply passionate about patient education, empowerment, and helping others achieve strength and resilience. Outside the clinic, Christine serves as a martial arts instructor, where she enjoys teaching self-defense and supporting individuals in building both physical and mental strength. When not working, Christine can be found outdoors walking her three pugs.
