Claire Anderson, PTA
Originally from Scotland, Claire’s love of travel, culture, and warmer climates has taken her across the globe—including time in London, Malaysia, India, and the USA. She is excited to now call Los Angeles home and to be part of the Origin family.Movement has been a constant thread throughout Claire’s life. From dancing at a young age, finding balance during long office hours; to retraining as a yoga and reformer teacher and leading soul filled retreats; She has always believed that movement is medicine. Her passion for understanding the body more led her to complete an Associate of Applied Science degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant at Houston City (nee. Community) College.
She has long held a deep curiosity for all things posture, pelvis, and spine and loves blending eastern philosophy with western science in her approach.Claire’s passion for pelvic health grew during her final clinical rotation at Methodist West Houston, where she was mentored by a compassionate and dedicated team. Inspired by this experience, she hopes to create a safe and supportive environment where people can seek help and guidance for conditions or situations that are often seen as taboo. When she’s not in the clinic, Claire can be found teaching or attending yoga and reformer classes, exploring her new city, or going for long walks (aptly names “wiggles” in her family) Had her life had taken a different path she believes she would be somewhere in Spain, studying the passionate art of flamenco dancing!
