
Dr. Claire Wilson, PT, DPT
Claire graduated from the College of Charleston in South Carolina with a degree in Exercise Science before going on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from High Point University in North Carolina. During physical therapy school, she served as the student council service chair, volunteered at HPU's pro-bono clinic, and co-authored research on ACL injury prevention. After graduation, she began her career in orthopedics, gaining valuable experience treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. Through her own journey with pelvic pain and navigating a world with minimal information, resources, and providers available for women with pelvic floor issues, she found a deep passion for pelvic health and dedicated her career to helping other women with similar experiences.
Claire has specialized expertise in pelvic pain and sexual dysfunction, pregnancy and postpartum conditions, menopause, pre/post pelvic surgery, athletes with pelvic floor issues, and bowel and bladder dysfunction. She has taken advanced training in the postpartum athlete, to include weightlifters, endurance athletes, and CrossFitters. Claire provides specialized pelvic health care exclusively through virtual care, and treats patients of all genders and with all types of anatomy.Claire is committed to creating an open, safe, and welcoming space where people feel heard and empowered. Her goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care that helps individuals better understand their bodies, feel confident in their daily lives, and return to the activities they love. Outside of work, Claire enjoys beach walks with her husband and two boykin spaniels (Remy and Lola), lifting weights, exploring national parks, going to concerts, and reading.
