Virtual Care

With a decade of experience in pelvic health physical therapy, Janelle combines clinical expertise with personal understanding in her approach to patient care. Inspired by her own recoveries, Janelle knows firsthand how challenging it can be to find support and reliable information about pelvic health. These experiences sparked her dedication to breaking down the stigma around pelvic floor issues and making pelvic health care more accessible and approachable for all.

Janelle has worked in academic medical centers, private practices, and digital health startups, providing her with a unique perspective on how to support patients at every stage of life. She is passionate about early education for pregnancy and postpartum individuals, believing it sets the foundation for lifelong pelvic health. As a former fitness instructor, Janelle especially enjoys working with women during pregnancy and the postpartum period but also welcomes patients dealing with urologic conditions and recovery from abdominal or pelvic surgeries—a passion rooted in her own experience as a pelvic PT patient after surgery.Janelle has a broad scope of expertise, including urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, pelvic girdle pain, pubic symphysis and groin pain, diastasis recti abdominis, and understanding the impact of lymphedema on pelvic health. She has experience treating males with pelvic pain, post-prostatectomy, and post-surgical recovery, and has contributed to programs supporting trans and post-vaginoplasty patients at the University of Utah.Continually committed to advancing her skills, Janelle is interested in further developing her knowledge in oncology and lymphedema care. Her mission is to meet each individual where they are—offering guidance, empathy, and innovative care so that no one has to navigate their pelvic health journey alone.Outside of work, Janelle enjoys attending concerts, listening to true crime podcasts, and chasing after her two strong-willed and amazing daughters.
