Virtual Care

Joelle is a physical therapist specializing in orthopedics and pelvic floor rehabilitation. Her passion for women’s health began early in life, inspired by watching “A Baby Story” on TLC and marveling at the strength women display during labor and delivery. This fascination developed into a deep empathy and a commitment to supporting women through every stage of life.Joelle earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2013, and completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Touro University of Nevada in 2018. She began her professional journey as a physical therapy technician in 2012, where she first discovered her interest in pelvic health. During her studies, Joelle completed her first Herman & Wallace course, solidifying her dedication to pelvic floor therapy, especially in obstetrics and post-natal care.

Over the past seven years, Joelle has worked with a diverse patient population, specializing in pregnancy, postpartum recovery, pudendal neuralgia, and lumbar pain. She also treats sports-related injuries, geriatrics, and has a particular expertise in women’s pelvic health. Joelle holds certifications in pelvic health and is committed to advancing her specialization by pursuing board certification.Joelle's approach to rehabilitation is informed by her own personal journey with musculoskeletal injuries, providing her with a unique perspective on the recovery process from both the clinician and patient sides. This personal insight allows her to deliver truly patient-centered, empathetic care, tailored to the individual needs and goals of each person she treats. In addition to her clinical expertise, Joelle has supported several home births for close friends and family, offering guidance during labor and postpartum recovery. Outside the clinic, she finds joy in camping, hiking, and spending time in nature. One of her proudest achievements was summiting Mt. Whitney in the spring of 2022, an accomplishment that challenged her both physically and mentally, and reinforced her belief in the inner strength each person possesses.
