Dr. Johannah Smith PT, DPT, CLT

Physical Therapist
She/Her
West Hollywood

Johannah has a passion for treating all people with pelvises and supporting patients through some of the most personal and vulnerable aspects of their health. She has a strong professional interest in pregnancy and postpartum care, with a focus on helping individuals recover and return to the activities that matter most to them. She also enjoys supporting patients experiencing urinary incontinence, constipation, and dyspareunia (pelvic pain/painful sex).Johannah earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Tampa and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from American International College, then completed a specialized pelvic health residency where she developed advanced clinical skills and a strong foundation in evidence-based pelvic care.

Johannah was drawn to pelvic health after recognizing how many people quietly struggle with bladder, bowel, and sexual health concerns, often assuming their symptoms are “normal” or something they just have to live with. She is committed to normalizing these conversations and providing patients with practical tools to feel better, more confident, and more in control of their bodies. Her approach to care is compassionate, inclusive, and patient-centered. She strives to create a supportive environment where patients feel comfortable, respected, and empowered to understand their symptoms and participate actively in their treatment. Education is central to her practice, and she works collaboratively with patients to build individualized plans that support both recovery and long-term well-being.Originally from Massachusetts, Johannah has since fallen in love with the West Coast and the lifestyle it offers. Outside the clinic, she enjoys trying new sourdough recipes, hanging out with her dog, catching up on binge-worthy TV, and exploring trails, beaches, and neighborhoods throughout California.
