Dr. Kathleen Espinosa PT, DPT
Kathleen strives to create a supportive, collaborative environment where each patient feels heard, valued, and empowered throughout their care. She works closely with her patients to help them regain confidence and function, whether that means returning to daily activities or achieving meaningful personal goals, and finds deep fulfillment in being part of that journey.
Kathleen earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Dominican College of Blauvelt. Her background spans both inpatient and outpatient settings, with experience in pediatrics, geriatrics, neurological rehabilitation, orthopedics, external pelvic floor therapy, and sports injuries.
She has a particular passion for treating sciatica, urinary incontinence, and pediatric care, including torticollis and developmental milestone delays. She loves supporting new mothers with the body mechanics of carrying, lifting, and caring for a newborn, as well as guiding babies through developmental milestones. Her own experience as a breast cancer patient, alongside family members who have faced cancer, opened her eyes to how little physical therapy support exists for women navigating cancer treatment and recovery, and deepened her commitment to filling that gap.
Outside the clinic, Kathleen enjoys hiking with her wife, Sudeepta, and their dog, Nymphadora, trying new foods, traveling, reading fantasy books, and playing video games.
