
Dr. Jamila Martin, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Jamila is originally from upstate New York. Jamila received her Bachelor's degree in Biology from Winston-Salem State University in which she played volleyball. Jamila later went on and received her Doctorate in physical therapy from University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
Jamila began to have an interest in pelvic health following multiple friends having pelvic floor dysfunction. She began to realize the impact of pelvic floor dysfunction on so many areas of their life. Jamila is very determined to help as many women and to bring more awareness to pelvic floor dysfunction.
Jamila is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, as well as the APTA Women's Health Section. Jamila has taken many continuing education courses in pelvic floor, along with courses through Herman Wallace.
Jamila enjoys shopping, exercising, and spending time with family and friends.. Jamila enjoys traveling and exploring new places with her husband Mike, and son Isaiah.
