Dr. Anthea Pitysingh PT, DPT
Hi there! I'm Anthea and I'm a Doctor of physical therapy. I received my Doctorate in 2016 from Florida International University in Miami, FL.
I have 6 years of expertise under my belt, working with people of all ages, from newborns to geriatrics. I’m an advocate for women’s health with dedication to diversity, equity and inclusion.
I'm a compassionate, creative and fun person who loves to explore the outdoors and try new things.
My experience includes pelvic floor dysfunction, acute and chronic pain, body and postural mechanics/training, gait and balance training, joint mobilization, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, post surgical rehab, fractures and sprains.
Prior to working at Origin, my experience also includes managing the physical therapy department at an outpatient clinic, where I also gained skills as a clinical instructor, helping students develop as future physical therapists.
In my free time I enjoy being outdoors (checking off the best hikes on all trails!) cooking (my friends always ask me to make them dinner), photography (especially the scenic shots) arts and crafts—and all genres of music.
I love seeing my patients progress and improve their quality of life!
