Dr. Conchita Sayago PT, DPT
Conchita Sayago was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. At the age of seventeen, she moved to El Paso, Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Texas at El Paso and completed her Masters in Physical Therapy in 2008. In 2013, she and her small family moved to Houston, and in 2015, she furthered her studies and received her transitional Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Texas Women’s University in Houston. She has over 14 years of clinical experience assisting people with a variety of neurological disorders, ortho-pelvic and other musculoskeletal conditions.
Conchita’s pelvic health interest began while working with patients with spinal cord injuries and strokes, prompting her to take courses through the American Physical Therapy Association Pelvic Health Section. But it wasn’t until she suffered from a neurological condition and experienced her own pelvic health dysfunction that she realized the need to connect neurological and ortho-pelvic floor treatment. Conchita believes in treating others as a whole person and has a holistic view to health.
During her free time, Conchita enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters, crafting, cooking, and tending to her garden. She loves dogs and likes to foster rescued puppies. Conchita is fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
