Michelle received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at University of Texas at Austin. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX.

Michelle’s interest in pelvic floor physical therapy began during university, when she learned of women’s issues related to pregnancy and childbirth through her job as a nanny. She further gained interest in pelvic floor physical therapy when she personally experienced the positive impact that pelvic floor physical therapy could have.

Michelle is passionate about working together with patients to empower them in their bodies, the interconnectedness of healing physically, mentally, and emotionally, and the intersectionality of identity that plays a role in care. She is Herman and Wallace level 1A and 2A certified, and trauma informed care certified. She has interest in treating all genders for pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction, urge and stress incontinence, pregnancy, postpartum, SIJ/low back pain, colorectal disorders, fecal incontinence, and constipation.

Outside of work, Michelle loves to dance, take walks outside, spend quality time with friends, and thrift shop.
